The property transactions at time shall involve third party agency or firm as an intermediary for smooth transaction process and may employed either by the buyer or seller. The relationship between the agency and client involved in property transaction shall be either conventional full-service or commission based brokerage under a signed listing agreement. In most of jurisdictions a title agency need to be licensed for conducting property transactions, even for receiving any remuneration for such services, any unlicensed activity shall be considered as illegal. In some estates lawyers are permitted to handle the property transactions for compensation even without being licensed as agent.
