Hardware Asset Management (or HAM) is the practice of handling IT assets, including current and decommissioned tech around the office.

It's largest role, however, is managing the retirement of old electronics.

Hard drives
Computers
Monitors
Wi-Fi Routers
Cameras
CDs
Flash drives
