Advance Authorisation – Net-to-Net

Net-to-Net basis Advance Authorisation simplifies both import and export procedures for companies such as Kireeti Consultants, making it easier to obtain duty-free imports of materials and parts that go into producing exported products. It is a system of accurate accountability where imports of exactly equal net materials used in exports, resulting in no wastage, are allowed.
Net-to-Net calculation allows the importation of inputs such as raw materials without payment of customs duty depending on their potential value within the final export products and not their wastage. For example, if a material weighs 100kg and produces exportable merchandise of 80kg with potential value of 15kg, only 85kg will be allowed to be imported into the country.
